John Herman has an extensive two decade background in real estate development, real estate management, sales and construction. He brought his seasoned experience in the New York metropolitan area to bear on the East End of Long Island 12 years ago when he moved to East Hampton full time, and began working for Allan Schneider then Corcoran.

John has a well respected reputation for attentive service and expert guidance. He helps customers focus on their needs by educating them on the local market, enabling them to make housing decisions that make good economic sense and suit their unique lifestyle.

John continually maintains thorough market knowledge and practices comprehensive diligence to ensure clients a smooth transaction process and effective negotiations resulting in the right price.

John holds a Masters degree in Education and an undergraduate degree in Anthropology from Stony Brook University. He actively enjoys outdoor living in the Hamptons, and is the father of three accomplished sons – a finance specialist in structured credit products in NYC, an attorney for the NFL in Miami, and an alternative energy lobbyist for an international NGO in Denmark.
