
Nanette Hansen serves as Senior Vice President Sotheby’s International Realty-Hamptons where she is also Brokerage Manager, overseeing a team of more than 120 agents and staff. Since joining SIR in 2009, Nanette spent nearly a decade as a top-producing, first‑quartile agent exclusively focused on the Hamptons before transitioning into brokerage leadership.
A dedicated advocate for both agents and the Sotheby’s International Realty brand, Nanette prioritizes cultivating a responsive, supportive, and highly professional office environment. She ensures that agents receive exceptional administrative support, sophisticated marketing resources, advanced technology, individualized mentoring, and—critically—a non‑competing manager fully committed to their success. Weekly regional office sales meetings, provide market insights, trends analysis, broker feedback, collaborative discussion, and shared best practices. Comprehensive meeting notes are consistently distributed to ensure all agents remain informed and aligned.

Before her real estate career, Nanette spent 19 years as an Emmy Award–winning television journalist and anchor for NBC, CNBC, and CBS, dividing her time between Manhattan and East Hampton. She remains an active board member of her Upper West Side Manhattan cooperative and resides full‑time in East Hampton. Nanette is a graduate of Boston College.
