About Bibb Bailey
A Manhattan native and a lifelong lover of historic architecture, Bibb combines deep-rooted local insight into the sales of Upper West and Upper East Side co-ops and condos with decades of market expertise. She also has 25+ years of personal experience buying and selling every type of NYC residential property. She serves on the board of her co-op, just off Central Park West, and has a proven track record of successful co-op board approvals that buyers and sellers rely on. Bibb began her real estate career in 1994 at the boutique firm Elias Bernstein in SoHo, quickly becoming one of the office’s top producers. She then spent over two decades working in theater while remaining deeply involved in the Manhattan Real Estate market. During this time, she and her husband bought and sold multiple co-ops, condos, and a townhouse—strategically acquiring well-priced properties and selling at strong returns. The experience gave her firsthand insight into what’s required on both sides of the table and a sharp eye for value, timing, and long-term investment potential. She studied at the New York School of Interior Design and is known for her confident, creative eye. She especially thrives in spaces with history and character, and brings that appreciation into every listing and buyer experience. She is proud to work alongside Jerry Gemignani, one of the Upper West Side’s top-performing brokers known for record-breaking results and a track record of smart pricing, targeted marketing, and successful board approvals. Now that her three kids—Bleecker, Waverly, and Crosby, all named after downtown streets— are off on their own adventures, Bibb spends her time guiding clients through the co-op board process with ease… and even makes it fun. You can usually find her walking her dogs through Central Park or stopping to enjoy the live Beatles music at Strawberry Fields—always keeping an eye out for inspiration, with a quirky wallpaper or high-gloss paint sample in hand.
