The current owner of a retail store in Shelter Island, as well as a home there for many years, Karen knows the market extremely well. Originally from Colombia, Karen moved to Costa Rica with her family at age 17. She went to college at U Latina in Costa Rica with a Bachelor’s in Journalism concentrated in Communication and Marketing. Karen subsequently worked as a manager for Britt Company in retail in Costa Rica, Peru and Chile and trained new employees. Her extensive sales and service background is invaluable when walking her buyers and sellers through the complex yet rewarding process of transacting real estate.
