Don Gauthier’s 30 years in the mortgage business set the stage for his natural transition into selling real estate. So did his 30-year knowledge of the Hamptons as a contented full-time resident.

Don came out East years back when working in one of several sales jobs to open up the territory for the company he was with at the time. He instantly fell in love, and soon after made the Hamptons his home and place of business.

Originally from Springfield, Massachusetts, Don also previously worked in Manhattan. He has lived in East Hampton and presently in Southampton where he specializes in helping clients find homes they love as much as he does his.

Don’s philosophy is not new, but rare for today’s times. It’s based on “what can I do for you” instead of “what’s in it for me.” He genuinely cares about the clients he serves, and especially loves helping clients realize the dream of home ownership. Don conducts his business with honesty and delivers with integrity. To him it’s all about service, with lifelong relationships the ultimate goal.

Outside of work, Don serves on the Board of Advisors of the YMCA of East Hampton. He is an avid golfer, and helps run the Y’s golf tournament fundraiser. He also gives time to other local charities, and of course gets to the beautiful beaches every chance he gets.
