Gaylene Schommer loves the diversity of the work she does and the clients she meets every day. As an integral team member working with Jason Schommer, a top-producing Hamptons broker and highly-regarded Corcoran Associate Broker, Gaylene enjoys various responsibilities that span from showings and open houses about town to listing, contract and marketing work in the office.

Originally from Wichita, Kansas where she raised her family, Gaylene earned a business degree then managed a flower shop for several years. She possesses not only keen business and administrative skills, but a strong sense of organization that keep deals on track, and endearing personality that makes clients feeling well cared for.

Prior to moving to the Hamptons to join her son in real estate, Gaylene honed her creativity and management skills for a company that specialized in pools and spas in summer, and holiday decorations in winter. She handled all merchandising aspects of the business as well as buying, decorating and working various home shows.

“I love real estate because every new day is different,” says Gaylene. “I find great fulfillment in getting to know our clients, and being a facilitator in helping them find a home they can enjoy for many years.”

A resident of Bridgehampton, Gaylene enjoys reading, movies, meeting friends at their local book club, and getting lots of attention from her loving canine companion. The mother of three grown children and grandmother of five, she also gets back to see her family in Kansas as often as she can.
