Robin Blackleys roots in Southampton Village stem back to the late 1800s and early 1900s, which explains why she is so deeply committed to the community. She is extremely knowledgeable about the unique Hamptons area and enjoys sharing a little of the history with interested customers.
A native New Yorker who grew up on Long Island and summered here in the family beach cottage, she attended Arizona State University, then returned home to New York where she worked as an artist casting bronze in several foundries. Robin permanently settled in Southampton Village in the 1970s after living in Manhattan.
Robin and her family love the quality of life in Southampton because of all it has to offer. With access to the ocean and bay, to water sports of all kinds, to beautiful scenery, diverse activities and wonderful people, what more could one ask for.
Over the years, she has enjoyed volunteering her time for many community causes. She also enjoys sailing and keeping bees.
Having multiple investment properties gives her experience on both sides of the Real Estate fence by being a homeowner as well as a landlord. She has done major renovations in the homes she owns and can help her new homeowners with ideas and contacts for their projects.
"For me, a house is more than a commodity," says Robin, who has witnessed many changes over the years. "Its a place where people make memories, and a place thats hard to forget when the time comes to move on. I hold clients hands throughout the process, so theyre comfortable every step of the way."
As a licensed Real Estate Broker, she enjoys helping people find their perfect home, beach house or investment property. Robin wants the customers she finds homes for to feel "just as content here as I do because I consider them to be my future neighbors".
