About Thomas Raffo

Tom Raffo began his career in real estate immediately upon graduating from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford, New Jersey, with a double major in English and marketing. Tom was employed in the management division of co-ops and condominiums at Douglas Elliman Gibbons and Ives real estate firm in Manhattan. He later transitioned from management to sales. By the time he was in his mid-20's, he was marketing and selling multi-million-dollar apartments in buildings such as the San Remo, the Majestic, and the Beresford, among others throughout Manhattan.

A rising star in the Manhattan real estate world, he also had a passion for exploring development opportunities in the Hamptons. His first development project was a property he found on one of the highest points in the Hamptons with 360 degree sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean, Peconic Bay, and beyond. Tom took cues from sprawling pre-war apartments in Manhattan and incorporated some of those details into a magnificent new home that was bought by the former chairman of Bear Stearns, Alan "Ace" Greenberg. The sale of that home, at the time, achieved one of the highest prices ever paid north of the highway. After his highly successful first project, Tom decided to move out to the Hamptons full-time and went on to develop and build many multi-million-dollar homes. In addition to his building projects, he has had a very successful career brokering homes and land with Sotheby's International Realty for over 20 years. Tom has participated in many multi-million-dollar deals, as well as selling to first-time buyers. His unique background and experience in building and development, as well as his keen knowledge of the Hamptons real estate market makes Tom a natural to work with whether selling, buying, or building.
