About Meredith Murray

An award-winning real estate broker for more than 25 years, Meredith is a 4th generation East Ender and a noted writer who has written four books on local history, her most recent being "Voices of Quogue: A Small Village Remembers The Way We Were," (2015). Experienced in waterfront issues, the permit process, and housing inventory, she and her husband Bob Murray (both Multi-Million Dollar Club members for the last 10 years) are among the Westhampton Beach Corcoran office’s highest producers.

A graduate of Vassar College, the NJ College of Medicine & Dentistry’s paramedic program, and Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, Meredith has worked as a writer/editor for PEOPLE Magazine, as a midwife’s assistant, paramedic, Walking Horse trainer and college recruiter for a large NYC bank. Her favorite job is still real estate, however, and her favorite place is the East End of Long Island.

Meredith’s hobbies are tennis, golf, reading, ocean swimming, sailing, bowling, and beach walking with her dogs, while her local activities have included Hospice, Rotary International, and various Rescue/First Aid squads. An active member of both the Westhampton Historical Society and the Quogue Historical Society, she is also a Trustee of the Suffolk County Historical Museum. She has been married for 45+ years to Bob Murray, her Corcoran real estate partner whom she met when they were both teenagers racing sailboats on Moriches Bay.
