George’s understanding of land use, zoning, codes, engineering, and coastal property considerations gives him a valuable perspective when guiding buyers, sellers, and renters. Just as important, he brings the patience and people-first approach shaped by more than 40 years of public service and over 20 years as a volunteer firefighter and Fire Police member with the Westhampton Beach Fire Department.
Before entering real estate, George built a distinguished career in public service, engineering, planning, and facilities management. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Civil Engineering, with a focus in Coastal Engineering, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York State. His professional background includes work in land use permitting for coastal properties, service as Town Engineer for the Town of Southampton, and a long career with Eastern Suffolk BOCES, where he helped improve learning environments for students across the region. Since 2022, he has also served as an appointed member of the Town of Southampton Planning Board.
A longtime Westhampton Beach resident, George first came to the area in 1998 and immediately fell for its small-town feel, natural beauty, open space, beaches, welcoming community, and vibrant downtowns.
Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, George has studied and lived abroad in Canada, England, and Australia before ultimately settling on Long Island. He has been married for 40 years and is the proud father of two adult sons and grandfather to two beloved grandchildren. Outside of real estate, he enjoys cricket, soccer, gardening, cooking, traveling, beach time, and spending time with family and friends.
